Online Link Shortener
Paste a long URL to make a short link for free, with no account required. Choose an available alias or require a password before visitors reach the destination.
Create a short link
Enter a full URL, then choose any options you need.
Create and share a link
Enter a destination URL
Paste the HTTP or HTTPS address of the page you want to share.
Choose an alias or password
For a memorable link, enter an unused alias. Turn on password protection if visitors should unlock it first.
Create and check the link
Select “Shorten link”, copy the result or choose “Create QR code”. A password-protected QR link still asks for the password.
How are links stored and opened?
Destination and recent links
The destination URL and link settings are sent to and stored on the server so the short link works on other devices. Up to 50 recent links are listed in this browser; clearing browser data removes that list, not the created links.
Clicks and expiration
This page has no expiration-date control or click dashboard. Successful redirects are logged with the time, IP address and browser information, but no statistics are shown here.
Check before publishing
Links made on this page have no set expiration date. A link can still stop working if the service or destination becomes unavailable or the link is disabled. Open it yourself before putting it in print.
If a link cannot be created or opened
- Alias already taken
- try another name or leave the field empty for an automatic code.
- URL rejected
- check the HTTP/HTTPS prefix and use a public website address instead of localhost or an IP address.
- Protected link will not open
- check the shared password. Too many wrong attempts temporarily block unlocking for 15 minutes.
