Generate JSON-LD Schema Markup
Choose a content type, enter details visible on the page, and create a JSON-LD draft to test before publishing. This tool does not validate your live page or guarantee a special Google search appearance.

Match the schema to the page
Choose the type that describes the main content readers can see. These templates emit only the properties you fill in; fields marked * need a value before code is generated.
| Type | Use it for | Review before publishing |
|---|---|---|
| Article | An article with a headline, author, and publish date. | URL, modified date, and publisher name if supplied. |
| Product | A product page with a real price and currency. | Price, availability, and brand must match the page. |
| LocalBusiness | A page about a physical business location. | Full address; a schedule such as Mo-Fr 07:00-22:00 becomes openingHoursSpecification. |
| FAQPage | A page with visible questions and answers. | Google no longer shows FAQ rich results; use this type only if it serves another purpose. |
| Review | A product review with a real author and rating. | Do not invent reviews or ratings; check Google’s review policies. |
| Event | An event with a real time and physical venue. | Venue name, address, and timezone for the start/end times. |
From draft code to a published page
- Enter details that match the target page and generate JSON-LD. The tool checks required fields and some basic formats, but it does not fetch or compare your website content.
- Copy the raw JSON. If your CMS expects HTML, wrap it in a
<script type="application/ld+json">…</script>tag on the matching content page. - Check syntax and properties with Schema.org Validator. After publishing, test the URL with Google Rich Results Test and confirm Google can access the page.
Passing a test does not guarantee a Google rich result or higher ranking. Google requires structured data to reflect visible content and meet policies for each type. Read Google’s general guidelines.
What this generator checks
The six templates are built in your browser from what you enter; the copy button writes JSON to your clipboard. The form does not send data to an API, install code on your site, test a live URL, or preview a search result. Empty optional fields are omitted from the JSON-LD.
If a validator reports missing properties, consult the documentation for that schema type and update the live page. These templates cover common fields; you can edit the copied JSON-LD to add suitable properties.
