ChoiceResult and considerations
Searchable PDFKeep each page image and add a text layer for searching, selecting and copying. Pages are rebuilt from images; file size may increase.
Word (.docx)Edit the recognized text with page order and page breaks. Original tables, columns, fonts and images are not reconstructed.
Plain text (.txt)Use recognized text for notes, lookup or further processing, with original page number labels.

Troubleshooting

Incorrect accents or missing text
Select the correct language and try 300 DPI with a clearer scan. Handwriting, blur and tiny text may produce errors; always review the result.
Tables or columns read out of order
Try the text block setting for a single-column page. For tables or multiple columns, compare with the original and edit the DOCX; tables are not reconstructed.
Long documents or slow processing
Select up to 50 pages per run; on phones, use small batches and 200 DPI. Cancel stops the current run without exporting a partial document.

Where is the document processed?

Document contents are read and exported in your browser without being sent to a conversion API. A connection is needed to load libraries; Vietnamese and English OCR data are served by KitoTool. The website still uses general page analytics. Keep the tab open while processing and download results before closing or reloading it.

How is this different from PDF to Word?

PDF to Word extracts an existing text layer. Scanned PDF OCR recognizes text in images when a PDF cannot be searched or copied.

Does it recognize Vietnamese?

Vietnamese, English and Vietnamese + English are available. Accuracy depends on the scan; review accents, numbers and names.

Is the original layout preserved?

The PDF keeps rendered page images with a recognized text layer. DOCX keeps text and page breaks rather than complex layout. Original PDF links, forms and digital signatures are not transferred to the OCR PDF.
